When Surfacing Standards asked us to work on their brochure and exhibition stand design, we also discussed designing and building them a new website so their public face was completely in sync.
SSL loved the idea, and asked us to create a website that was easy to update and worked across desktops, tablets and mobiles.
The Thinking
The website design followed immediately after our work on the new brochure, which allowed us to flow the visual style and detail through into the new site.
Knowing that people looking to invest in a new sports surface might be a bit overwhelmed at all the attention to detail and tasks involved, we brought in the 4 step process that SSL created, to show the website visitors how easy they can make the whole process.
The navigation structure means the visitor can browse by 'sport' or by 'service needed', and because SSL are personable chaps they can also read about the company and key team members along with the latest news.
We didn't just stop at the website – we wanted SSL's overall digital persona to sit together so we created them a profile icon and banner for their twitter profile too which looks equally brilliant. (In our humble opinion!)
The Result
The new website is welcoming from the moment you land on it. The copy is written to be informative with no jargon and the creative style immediately communicates what SSL do.
Along with their new brand and marketing materials, Surfacing Standards now have a snappy new look that makes them stand out against their competition.
