Landscape Architect, Keary Coles wanted a brand and website that would reflect their own strong design skills whilst offering web visitors quick, clear and easy navigation through the site content.
The site should communicate the company’s Landscape and Design Management skills as well as provide a design showcase that encourages visitors to contact Keary Coles Design with a view to work with them on future projects.
In order to regularly refresh and update their web presence, Keary Coles wanted to be able to manage their own content on the site.
The Thinking
For the new brand, we wanted to create an identity that was both striking, but use clean lines and un-cluttered layout.
When considering the website, we felt the best way to show what Keary Coles can do is to show off their impressive portfolio. With this in mind, our approach was to make the website project centric, meaning large images could be shown along with key descriptive content, whilst also highlighting the individual services the projects used.
The Result
The Keary Coles identity is crisp and clean. The 'landscape architecture' description as a forward slash between the two names is a clever device to convey quickly what the company does.
The website design incorporates the brand fully, using the wider colour palette for highlights and callouts. The site has a fresh feel that lets the landscape photography catch the visitors eye. Overall it makes it easy for the visitor to find the information they're looking for, whilst encouraging them to contact Keary Coles about their next project.
