To design and develop a new 'look and feel' for highly creative production company Indigo Blue Media, who specialise in high-end film-making in a broad range of sectors. The brief was to create a new logo and corporate identity which had to work hand-in-hand with a brand new website to showcase their impressive portfolio.
The Thinking
We wanted both the new brand, and the website creative to be instantly indicative of their industry, and give a slick professional feel.
The website intersperses looped video footage with still images from their films to give visual reference to their portfolio of work.
The new identity had to work well across social networks, and needed to tie-in and support the strong visual look and feel created for the new website. As Indigo Blue Media work on projects of all styles in many different sectors, the logo had to be fairly neutral and not suggest one particular style of filmmaking. We wanted it to look clean, be highly legible and visually engaging.
The Result
The new brand and website has suitably creative feel and showcases their portfolio by leading with their imagery and film content. The responsive site is mobile and tablet compatible to reach out to a wider target audience.
The brand uses a simple, fine typeface, paired with a stylish, uncomplicated icon and gentle colour palette to reflect this thinking.
