Honda asked us to create a brochure to promote their portable generator and water pump range to leisure users, highlighting the key benefits of these premium products over Chinese copy imports.
The Thinking
We felt it was very important to demystify the products to a non-technical leisure audience by clearly communicating the key technologies, product quality, versatility and potential applications – creating a need for ownership. Stylistically we wanted the brochure to be unique and fun, to make it more memorable and to give stand out against very industrial-focussed competitor literature.
The Result
A suitably portable brochure was created with integral handle. Inside it uses fun, quirky illustrations and typography, as well as varied new application images. The combination conveys the information in an easily understood and engaging way, whilst re-inforcing Honda’s brand values. The brochure has been very well received by both Honda Dealers and customers alike… it's timeless appeal means it's still being used and updated 6 years on!
The Feedback
The brief we set Newenglish was challenging to say the least. As always, they came up trumps, with imagery very much in line with our brand values and fundamentally different from anything our competitors have in the marketplace.
