When Honda announced their new boat partner, Highfield who offer an impressive range of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs), we were asked to create a new brochure to promote the range featuring Honda outboard engines.
This new brochure was needed accompany the launch of the Highfield range in the UK, at the Southampton International Boat Show.
The Thinking
Highfield are fast developing a fantastic reputation in the industry and we wanted to create a brochure that truly represented the fun and excitement you can experience on the water with a Highfield.
A key element of the brochure is the photography. We took to the beautiful Devon coastline to shoot the full range of RIBS using Honda's outboards. The weather was in our favour and we came away from the shoot with all the photography we needed and mountains more.
The brochure design uses a landscape layout which gives large windows to feature the new photograpy. Throughout the brochrue we've used large geometric shapes with rounded corners (like the RIB's themselves) to frame text areas and imagery. This device makes the content easier to read through.
The brochure is structured to walk the reader up the Highfield range, from the smaller tenders to larger off-shore RIBs – with the specifications and key features made clear.
The Result
The UK launch of the Highfield boats has been very well received, with orders exceeding expectations at the show and beyond. It seems the Honda/Highfield combination is a great fit for beach-hoppers, cruisers and thrill seekers alike.
The brochure positions these complete boat packages as a range that has something for everyone – and the imagery captures the energy and excitement you feel when you're on the water.
