Pebl – an inspired typeface

A proud day for Ian here. His own lovingly crafted typeface (or font, call it what you will) is released for sale on Myfonts.com.

As you may have guessed from the name, it’s inspired by the naturally simplified and smoothed shapes of beach pebbles, after a genuine moment of inspiration on a trip to the beaches around Snowdonia. Then came a steep learning curve getting to grips with the actual digital production of a working typeface.

The result is a bold, super-rounded display typeface with a soft, organic feel. It’s even got a full array of characters for Western and Central European languages.
